DualSense new gamepad for PlayStation 5

PlayStation 5 is coming very soon

PlayStation 5’s controller, the DualSense is taking the  lessons learned from the DualShock 4 to a new level. With new  PS5’s 3D Tempest audio is innovating with sound, the DualSense is pushing the boundaries of how touch can be used in games. The DualSense’s shape is similar to the DualShock 4’s, with all the buttons and sticks in the same locations, but a little bit chunkier. But don’t let that extra width fool you. Thanks to the hardware engineers and designers changing some of the exterior lines and tweaking the grip it feels smaller than it looks, and fits snugly in a man-sized hand – players with smaller mitts will be fine. The triggers might look like you’d expect, but they’ve been angled slightly to further enhance the way it sits. There’s plenty of new tech inside the controller too, but care has been taken to balance additions with heft, meaning the DualSense weighs much less than you might think. And, if you’re regularly annoyed by your DualShock 4 running out of charge, the battery life has also been improved, so it holds a charge for longer (and now uses a faster USB-C connection to charge, saving time).

Sony CEO statement

President & CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan on official playstation blog said: “With each generation, from the first PlayStation to PlayStation 4, we aim higher and we push the boundaries further, to try and deliver better experiences for our community. This has been the mission of the PlayStation brand for more than 25 years. A mission I have been a part of nearly since the beginning.

There are few things as exciting as the launch of a new console. While this road to launch has been a bit…different, we are as thrilled as ever to bring you with us on this journey to redefine the future of videogames.

We’ve shared technical specifications and shown you the new DualSense wireless controller. But what is a launch without games?

That’s why I’m excited to share that we will soon give you a first look at the games you’ll be playing after PlayStation 5 launches this holiday. The games coming to PS5 represent the best in the industry from innovative studios that span the globe. Studios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established, all have been hard at work developing games that will showcase the potential of the hardware.

This digital showcase will run for a bit more than an hour and, for the first time, we will all be together virtually experiencing the excitement together. A lack of physical events has given us an amazing opportunity to think differently and bring you on this journey with us, and hopefully, closer than ever before. This is part of our series of PS5 updates and, rest assured, after next week’s showcase, we will still have much to share with you.  “

A PS5 event is officially scheduled for June 4, in which Sony will take us through the PS5 games we can expect to see in 2020.

Titles like GodfallOutriders, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Fortnite, NFL Madden 21, Dirt 5,  Lord of the rings are announced for PS5.

We are  excited for what is to come from playstation team in few days.
